For those not familiar with ARC, the Animas River Community Forum came together in response to the Gold King Mine spill incident. The Forum's role is sharing and disseminating information related to the spill, the 416 fire, and the subsequent recoveries. .

Join us at the La Plata County Fairgrounds for the June ARC meeting.

Kara Armano from 5RTU will join Ty Churchwell and Garrett Hanks from Trout Unlimited as keynote speakers at the forum, discussing the state of the Animas River from the headwaters through town. 

Ty will present an update on the Animas headwaters.
Garrett will be discussing the San Juan Cutthroat Trout and what it means for the Animas.
Kara will talk about the state of the Animas fishery and the bug life.

The Forum is free and open to the public.
